Welcome, I hope my blog is of some use for you!

Translatable resource routes in Laravel

In Laravel we have a great route method called reource, this method creates a set of default routes for a specific url. However this method is based on the English language and is not translatable by default.

This means that when using this method the routes will be /index, /create, /edit. But what if we want to change these routes to your language?

For that reason I’ve created a package that does just that. At the moment this package only support the default (English) and Dutch language. You can view this package here: https://github.com/doitonlinemedia/TranslatableRoutes.

With this package you can easily translate the routes like:

TranslatableRoute::resource('recipe', 'recepten', 'RecipeController');
